The main purpose of the textbook is to acquaint foreigners with Russian traditions and customs, the peculiarities of the behavior of Russian people in different situations, the mentality of Russians, as well as to help foreign students in the practical mastery of the Russian language as a means of communication based on topics related to national cultural traditions and the life of Russians. The textbook contains 14 lessons with educational texts about Russian traditions, with tasks on the vocabulary and grammar of the Russian language, on the development of speech and reading literary texts on topics of greatest interest to foreigners. The selection, content and organization of educational material are aimed at the formation of communicative, regional and cultural competence in the Russian language among foreign students. Основная цель учебного пособия — познакомить иностранцев с русскими традициями и обычаями, особенностями поведения русских людей в разных ситуациях, ментальностью русских, а также помочь иностранным учащимся в практическом овладении русским языком как средством общения на материале тем, связанных с национальными культурными традициями и жизнью россиян. Учебное пособие содержит 14 уроков с учебными текстами о русских традициях, с заданиями по лексике и грамматике русского языка, по развитию речи и чтению художественных текстов на темы, вызывающие наибольший интерес у иностранцев.
